As someone immersed in the world of higher education and student recruitment, I bring nearly a decade of experience to my role.
I’m here to share my insights and expertise, acquired from being an international student and working in the United Kingdom and also with an American University.
My expertise lies in navigating students through their academic choices, backed by a deep understanding of the complexities of international education systems.

In-country Visits
Our Regional Manager, Priyanka Rao will be visiting Kathmandu, Nepal from 18 May – 22 May 2026 and will be hosting informal catchups with applicants.
If you’ll be in Kathmandu during her visit, we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to connect, ask questions, and learn more about the university and opportunities at UoG.

Entry requirements
We understand that it can sometimes be difficult to work out what your qualifications match with in the UK education system, so the following country-specific information should help you decide which level of study is most appropriate for you.
- Higher Secondary School Certificate with 50%/GPA 2.0 or above
- Higher Secondary School Certificate with 60%/GPA 2.8 or above
- Successful completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum 55%
OR
- Successful completion of a 3-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum 60%
Master of Research
- Successful completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum 55%
OR
- Successful completion of a 3-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum 60%
Applicants must have completed a master’s degree with a good grade in a related subject field or hold relevant work experience.
Applicants are expected to submit a research proposal.
Undergraduate
Nepal School Leaving Certificate Examination (passed within the last 5 years)
IELTS 6.0 overall – 65% / Grade B / GPA 2.8
IELTS 6.5 overall – 70% / Grade B+ / GPA 3.2
IELTS 7.0 overall – 80% / Grade A / GPA 3.6
Postgraduate
Medium of Instruction (MOI) Letter from one of below Tier 1 Universities:
1. Kathmandu University
2. Tribhuvan University
3. Pokhara University
(The degree must have been completed within the last 10 years)
