As part of the UK Trade and Investment Exporting is GREAT Week from 18 - 22 April, staff from our international team attended various activities promoting UK engagement with the ASEAN region which is ranked as the 7th largest worldwide economy and is predicted by 2030 to eclipse Japan and become the 4th largest single market after the EU, US and China.
On 21 April, Sioned Evans, Head of International Student Recruitment, attended an event in Bristol entitled Doing Business with Vietnam where speakers included H.E Mr. Thao Nguyen, Ambassador from the Vietnam Embassy and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hai, First Secretary from the Vietnam Embassy who delivered a presentation on Education and Training opportunities in Vietnam.
On 22 April, Jane Gordon, Regional Manager for South East Asia attended an event in Gloucester hosted by Richard Graham MP and the Business West Gloucester International Network.
