Postgraduate open events

Find out about your course, meet the lecturers and make the right decision about your postgraduate study options.

Join us on Sunday 1 March at 10am.

What will I get from a postgraduate event?

Interested in research?

If you’re interested in research, book our open event to come and find out how it works, how to apply and have some early conversations about a PhD or Master’s by Research. You’ll get to speak with an academic from our Graduate School – the home of our postgraduate research community.

If you have already written a proposal or wish to discuss your proposal topic in more detail, one of our Meet the lecturer appointments will be a better opportunity to discuss that with an academic as we endeavour to match you up with an expert supervisor in that field.

Open events

Our next postgraduate open event is taking place on Sunday 1 March.

“The open event helped establish how supportive the staff and university would be. I had a good chat with a lecturer about my future career aspirations and how this course might help me. I left with a good feeling about the university and the course.”

Can’t wait till our next open event? Meet the Lecturer

Why not book an informal video chat or call with one of our postgraduate academic experts at a Meet the Lecturer session. You’ll get to speak to someone face-to-face and receive expert answers to all your questions.

Live overseas?

If you can’t make our open events on campus, you can access our virtual tours on demand. You may also find it useful to look at our information for international students or check for agents in your country.

The open event enabled me to discuss more comprehensively about the course. This one-to-one conversation encouraged me to apply.
