Professional Services

Working alongside our schools and CCRI we have an amazing group of teams supporting our students and staff in different ways.

At the heart of #TeamGlos is a dedicated network of Professional Services teams, organised across four strategic directorates: Chief Operating Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and People.

Shape the UoG experience

Professional Services are the backbone of the University’s operations. Each playing a vital role in creating an environment where students and staff can thrive – academically, professionally, and personally.

From the warm welcome at open days to the proud moments of graduation, our Professional Services colleagues help shape every step of the student journey. They design, deliver, and continuously improve the systems, experiences, and spaces that enable learning, foster belonging, and allow ambition to flourish.

Whether you’re supporting strategic planning, enhancing digital experiences, managing finances, or developing people, your work will directly contribute to the University’s growth and success. Explore the teams within each directorate below and find out how you can make a meaningful difference at UoG.

When you join professional services at UoG, you’ll receive a wide range of benefits, as well 32 days annual leave*, and enrolment onto a competitive pension scheme*.

*if you are part of the Local government pension scheme (LGPS) and would like to transfer it across, your holiday may vary.
