Jeremy Power

Senior Lecturer in Media Practice

Before joining this university I worked for BBC TV in London for over 20 years. For most of that time I was a post-production editor working on a very wide range of programmes from Blue Peter and Top of the Pops, to Match of the Day.

Biography

For me TV is one of the very best industries to work in, so I welcome students who are equally passionate.

I teach editing, cameras and TV studio operations. On-the-job learning opportunities are numerous, primarily through outside broadcasts I oversee. One such opportunity is live streaming Students Union sports matches where students can be part of a team covering live sport at an outside broadcast.
