Applied Sport and Exercise Sciences

I love thinking deeply about issues related to sport, games and play. There are so many interesting philosophical questions about the nature and value of these activities as part of a good life.

Emily is an established scholar, research supervisor and examiner. She’s the Chair of the Research Ethics Panel for the School of Sport and Exercise, sits on various university committees and is the Associate Editor for the Journal of the Philosophy of Sport.

She makes regular appearances on local and national media to discuss issues in sport, and is author of several books and other publications.
