Immy completed her Criminology with Psychology (BSc) undergraduate degree and is currently completing her Master’s by Research examining how relationship red flags are constructed.
She also collaborates with our criminology department researching domestic homicide.
Immy is a module tutor for Research and Theory in Criminological Psychology, and delivers lectures relating to forensic psychology, research methods and critical psychology, including feminism, masculinity and intimate partner violence.
Immy has a keen interest in researching domestic homicide and intimate partner violence. She has experience in both quantitative and qualitative methods, including Feminist Poststructuralist Discourse Analysis.
She also has experience in temporal sequencing and pattern analysis, particularly applying the 8 stage homicide timeline to real life cases of domestic homicide.
