Simon Wegrzyn is an award-winning director working across film, television, and theatre. He is a BAFTA Crew affiliate, with screen work including ‘Hold Hands or Hide’ (Amazon Prime) and ‘S*!T’ (Sky Arts), alongside directing for Channel 4 ‘Comedy Blaps’ and BBC Studios.
Before moving fully into directing, Simon trained and worked as an actor across film, television, theatre, and musicals. His acting credits include work with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre, and the BBC Drama Wannabes (BBC Three).
His theatre directing work includes ‘Alice the Musical’, ‘Doctor Faustus’, ‘Cleansed’, ‘Love and Information’, ‘Animal Farm’, and contributions to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games with Coca-Cola.
Alongside his professional practice, Simon has extensive teaching experience and has lectured at East 15 Acting School, MetFilm School, RADA, and City Academy.
