Emma Rose

Senior Lecturer In Occupational Therapy

I have worked in various sectors of occupational therapy practice prior to entering the world of Higher Education in 2011.

Since qualifying in 2001 I have worked in a variety of settings gaining varied experience within the diverse field of occupational therapy. This includes working in the acute sector, within specialist education and also social care. I have a particular interest in the impact of the built environment on occupation. This has enabled me to work alongside architects designing bespoke properties, and carry out access audits for town councils. In 2011 I made the move from practice into education becoming a senior lecturer and joined the team and University of Gloucestershire in 2021.
