Fahimeh Malekinezhad

Research Assistant (GEM)

Fahimeh is a quantitative social science researcher with a background in the psychological restorative effects of green spaces, and a particular interest in applying innovative evaluation approaches and methods.

Biography

Fahimeh has experience in developing and testing multivariate structural modelling in PLS-SEM as part of her PhD research investigating the perceived restorative characteristics of green spaces in supporting psychological restoration and mental health.

From 2019 to 2022, Fahimeh was a key member of the monitoring and evaluation team for the Going the Extra Mile (GEM) programme. This was a developmental evaluation of an employment inclusion programme to support and develop employability, mental health and well-being in Gloucestershire.

She is currently involved in two CCRI projects, the Social Value of Country Landowners Association (CLA) members and the National Innovation Centre for Rural Enterprise (NICRE) – supporting rural enterprise by combining research and practical innovation. With NICRE, she has used Social Network Analysis (SNA) to investigate the resilience of the rural food and drink supply network. She has also used multivariate analysis to understand the resilience of rural businesses and their resourcefulness strategies during Covid using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Hierarchical Clustering Analysis in SPSS.

Fahimeh’s statistical experience includes using PLS-SEM, SPSS, AMOS and social network analysis and visualisation using UCINET.
