Fiona Jones

Employer Engagement Officer

An employer Engagement Officer with a background in Performing Arts, my squiggly career path led me to UoG in 2022 after completing a Life Coaching Diploma, as the Mentoring Programme Coordinator. This inspired me to help others navigate the choppy waters of careers and find work that they can thrive in, by getting to the heart of what truly motivates them.

Biography

As a proud people person, I deeply enjoy getting to know individuals, what drives them, what they find challenging and helping them overcome that. Having had an extremely diverse and squiggly career myself, I feel that I have an understanding of the challenges of finding where you fit in the world. I enjoy connecting people and watching the magic happen when fruitful relationships form.

Other Work and Interests

Outside of my work, I have a deep interest in travel and culture, having lived in Australia for 2 years and travelled much of South-East Asia. In recent years, I have enjoyed exploring all the amazing places the UK has to offer in my campervan with my partner and my son.
