Broadcast journalism and technical media producer

Biography

I work as a media technician, supporting those who teach and study journalism, sports journalism, communications and television production.

I support students in the use of media hardware and software associated with audio/video capture, edit and broadcast – both in the studio and on location.

I have a background in community media, broadcast engineering and live music production. I have been involved in live event broadcasts from major music festival venues, alongside electronic news gathering (ENG) scenarios for commercial, civic and cultural events.

In additional to my educational duties, I keep pace with industry, working in freelance roles across location AV broadcast/streaming production.

  • BA , Radio – University of Gloucestershire: 2017.
