Kushal Adheen

Kushal is a senior lecturer in law with particular expertise in the field of International Law and Development, International Human Rights Law, Contract Law, Law of the European Union and Employment Law. Chevron icon

Biography

Kushal is a fellow of the higher education academy and has over 6 years of teaching experience on both undergraduate and post graduate level. Kushal is currently the module tutor for European Union and Employment Law.

Prior to joining University of Gloucestershire, Kushal was course leader for the LLB programme at GSM London in partnership with Plymouth University.

Teaching & Research

Teaching

Not one teaching method will be effective in the class room. A good teacher should be able to adapt to different learners. Therefore, Kushal uses a variety of teaching methods ranging from active learning to blended approach.

Research

Kushal has a particular research interest on teaching and learning in the higher education sector. His latest research in this area was on the need to change traditional law assessments to more current ones in response to employability skills.

Kushal's research focus is on the following areas: Gender Persecution and Women Rights, Brexit and the need for the UK to adopt a written constitution, The rule of law, Casual workers and employment rights.
