Dr Mah Rukh

Senior Lecturer in Computer Science

Working on performance and security challenges of cellular, mobile broadband and IoT networks is my passion. I am always driven by issues and practical AI-based solutions for new and cutting-edge technologies.

Biography

Mah-Rukh Fida is a senior lecturer in the School of Computing and Engineering. She was a post-doctoral research fellow at Simula Metropolitan Centre for Digital Engineering in Norway during November 2018 – March 2022.

Sponsored by the prestigious UK Commonwealth Award and Faculty of Future Schlumberger Award, she completed her PhD at University of Edinburgh, UK in 2018. She received a degree of MS (Information Technology) with distinction from IMSciences, KP, Pakistan in 2010.

Before PhD, Mah-Rukh served as a lecturer in Computer Science, at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, in Pakistan for eight years. She is a recipient of ‘Best University Teacher’ award of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan in 2011 and had a distinction in her BSc Computer Science undergraduate course in 2005, from University of Peshawar, Pakistan.
