I am very passionate about the student journey, including helping students to develop their skills through work experience and getting them to articulate and talk confidently about their skills in their applications and at interview. It feels such a privilege, and I feel so lucky to do the role I do.

Biography

I have worked in careers advice and guidance since 2010, having worked in a number of roles in the community, job centres, schools and a local further education college before joining University of Gloucestershire in 2019- a place I always wanted to work and proud to do – having been a student, I was keen to give something back.

Other Work and Interests

Outside of work and busy family life- I have a personal and professional interest in mental health and wellbeing. 2 charities that are close to my heart are Teckles animal shelter who I have recently volunteered with and also the Alzheimer’s Society, having completed a 13k charity walk for them in 2025.
