Prof Athanassios Bissas

Professor Of Sport & Exercise Technologies

My approach to scientific inquiry is all about working with fellow scientists to make a tangible contribution to methodologies and applications in sport performance, exercise and health contexts.

Biography

Having completed my first degree in Physical Education and Sports Studies at the University of Athens, I embarked on a long journey of further learning, research and practice. Throughout this journey I have been pursuing excellence in teaching, research and leadership. I have been fortunate to see and support the transition of sport and exercise science from a developing scientific study of sport to a fully integrated life science. Sport and Exercise Biomechanics is and remains my passion which I have been serving at an international level.
