Biography

I am excited to be the course lead in operating department practice at the University of Gloucestershire.I have spent all of my career in perioperative practice in both the academic setting and in numerous NHS posts. I am a nurse and a ODP and am passionate about promoting and leading the BSc in operating practice.

I get great pleasure in supporting and nurturing the ODPs of the future and am proud to see so many of my past students working locally in Gloucestershire. My specialist areas of interest includes simulated practice and multiprofessional working and human factors training.
