I’m a playwright and a prose writer whose work has been performed at The Everyman Studio and published in The Lampeter Review, The Wrong Quarterly, Scrutiny Journal, Storgy Literary Magazine, The Dawntreader, Literary Mama, Brain, Child, and other magazines. In 2019, I received Arts Council England funding for a play titled HALF which had four sold-out performances at the 8th Stroud Theatre Festival. My first novel Under the Same Moon, a thriller about the Serbian criminal underworld in London, is represented by Llorella Belli Literary Agency.
My research interests include migrations, displacement and identity and I am passionate about the political potential of contemporary theatre.
I teach the following undergraduate modules: Dramatic Writing Fundamentals, Advanced Dramatic Writing and Contemporary Dramatic Writing. In addition to these creative writing modules, I also teach Research & Enquiry and a final year industry-focused module called The Writing Business and the Professional Writer.
