Tony Tia Kwong - BA Marketing Management and Branding
For me, Gloucestershire is much more beautiful than other parts of England which might be the main attractions for potential students. Moreover, it is located in between many of the UK big cities, making it so easy and convenient for me to travel during my studies here. And I think all the day trips organized by the International Office and University clubs are the high points of my time so far at the university.
I would recommend International Welcome Week to other students since it is not only really helpful with a lot of essential information but also relaxing as you are able to settle to new town with people who are on the same boat as you.
Wing Mei Ng - MSc Marketing
The reason why I’ve chosen this university, was mostly due to very good impressions from other friends which finished their course here, every single requirement that I hold, has been met. The campuses are very well designed with the fusion of old and modern architecture, as well as the friendly, heart-warming people. The level of interaction that we enjoy as students is very likeable; we can get answers or support from any of the tutors in a matter of hours, either by e-mail, or an arranged meeting. I also appreciate the fact that tutors and school in general make an effort to treat us equally and provide a welcoming environment. In my free time, I enjoy spending time discovering the corners of where I live, understanding more about the English culture, appreciating the opportunity to also form friendships that nurture myself.
