Getting here

The campus address is: City Campus, Kings Square, Gloucester, GL1 1AW

On-site parking at City Campus is limited to accessible spaces for blue badge holders only. There is also an accessible drop-off point available on St Aldate Street.  

City Campus is also easy to reach via public transport.

Explore your new home on campus

City Campus is in the heart of Gloucester city centre, home to Gloucester Rugby, the Cathedral where Harry Potter scenes were filmed and Gloucester Quays.

Based in the iconic former Debenhams building on Kings Square, the building has been completely renovated to create a modern and vibrant centre for teaching, learning and community partnerships.

Home to the University’s Education courses, City Campus also welcomes students and staff from Psychological Sciences and Social Work, and from September 2027, it will be home to the Three Counties Dental School.

Explore cutting-edge facilities including mock classroom simulation spaces, multi-purpose teaching and group work areas, an immersive Virtual Reality room, an EEG lab, study spaces and the City Library.

These spaces have been designed to help you learn by doing, giving you access to realistic environments, specialist equipment and flexible areas for independent and collaborative study.

Step outside and you’re right in the centre of Gloucester, with shops, cafés and places to eat within easy reach. Gloucester’s historic docks and Gloucester Quays are around a 15-minute walk away, offering outlet shopping, bars, restaurants and cafés.

City Campus is easy to reach too, with Gloucester railway station just a 6-minute walk away and Gloucester Transport Hub only 3 minutes away.

Explore Gloucester

If you have time to spare, why not make your way into the centre of Gloucester and get a feel for this historic, vibrant city that you’ll call home.

It’s a 20 minute walk or short drive from Oxstalls and has some great options for shopping at the Quays and plenty of places to eat and drink in Gloucester Docks.
