Located on Oxstalls campus, there are 21 cluster flats with en-suite rooms spread across six blocks.
Oxstalls is a high-energy campus where our students train and compete with elite athletes, produce and perform shows, and work alongside global businesses in innovative teaching spaces.
Our healthcare students prepare in simulation wards and clinical settings.
Located in the heart of Gloucester, Oxstalls is just 15 minutes’ walk from the city centre giving you easy access to the city’s clubs, bars, shops, theatres, venues and cafes.

Our car parks are pay and display, and you can pay by credit/debit card or using the JustPark app. If you’re visiting us for an open day or a similar event, parking is usually free*.

Train
The closest railway station is Gloucester – around 20 minutes’ walk from the campus (walking directions from the station to Oxstalls).
Bus
Students and staff can travel around Cheltenham and Gloucester using Stagecoach bus services.
Benefit from reduced ticket prices by purchasing a UniRider ticket, either online or from the Stagecoach app. UniRider tickets are available to anyone with a University of Gloucestershire ID card.
The campus’ refectory offers hot meals, snacks, fresh sandwiches, a salad bar and freshly baked cakes and pastries.
There are vegan and vegetarian options available as well as vending machines and free water stations, so you can top up your bottle.
The Student Union bar provides evening entertainment and drinks or, 20 mins’ walk from campus you’ll find the buzzing Gloucester Quays & dockyard. This Quays offers late-night outlet shopping, waterside restaurants plus a cinema.
The campus is surrounded by ponds and green spaces, and nearby is a new area and surrounding pitches where our students can be found competing or just playing for fun.
The nearby Forest of Dean, grows the country’s largest area of mature oak. 30million acorns were planted by Lord Nelson after he used much of the forest for shipbuilding timber in the 1800s.
