The closest railway station is Gloucester which is about 20 minutes’ walk from the campus (walking directions from Gloucester train station to Oxstalls campus).
The No. 94 bus runs from the bus station opposite the railway station. It stops outside the campus, and runs every 10-15 mins. It takes less than 5 mins to get to Oxstalls by bus.
The campus’ refectory offers hot meals, snacks, fresh sandwiches, a salad bar and freshly baked cakes and pastries. There are vegan and vegetarian options available as well as vending machines and free water stations, so you can top up your bottle. The Student Union bar provides evening entertainment and drinks or, 20 mins’ walk from campus you’ll find the buzzing Gloucester Quays & dockyard. This Quays offers late-night outlet shopping, waterside restaurants plus a cinema.
The 94U bus connects all our campuses with Cheltenham town centre and Gloucester city centre.
The campus is surrounded by ponds and green spaces, or nearby is the new area and surrounding pitches where our students can be found competing or just playing for fun.
The nearby Forest of Dean, grows the country’s largest area of mature oak. 30million acorns were planted by Lord Nelson after he used much of the forest for shipbuilding timber in the 1800s.
