Postgraduate open events

Open events are the perfect opportunity to hear first-hand from our lecturers about our taught master's degrees, professional courses and research opportunities.

2020 and 2021 open events

Whether you're 21 or 71, widening your skills base or furthering your knowledge to boost your career prospects, both our online and on-campus postgraduate open events are the best way for you to investigate our range of courses and flexible modes of study. You’ll get to talk to our Postgraduate Course Leaders and be able to chat with our Admissions, Accommodation, Money Advice and International teams.

Watch our welcome and course talks, take tours of the campuses and facilities. Our postgraduate lecturers and researchers will be online to answer any course-specific questions using live chat, as well as current postgraduate students and staff in admissions, accommodation, finance and support teams.

Meet the lecturer!

If you'd like to speak to someone face-to-face, why not book a video chat or call with one of our postgraduate academic experts at a Meet the Lecturer session. During the current Covid-19 pandemic, we're conducting Meet the Lecturer sessions virtually (using channels like Microsoft Teams or Zoom). You can choose to join the session with or without video.

If you live outside the UK please do join us at our forthcoming virtual open events, where we will have members of our International team on hand to answer your questions. What postgraduate courses do you offer?

We offer a broad range of taught master’s degrees (MSc, MA, MDes, LLM, MBA, MEd), postgraduate certificates (PGCert) and diplomas (PGDip), as well as research programmes (MA by Research, MSc by Research), Master of Research (MRes) and Master of Philosophy (MPhil) through to PhDs and professional doctorates.

One-to-one advice

You will have the opportunity to ask course leaders the questions that matter to you and receive tailored advice and support.

Course sessions

Meet postgraduate students to get a real insight into your programme and what it’s like to study here. We offer subject presentations and more informal 1-1/group discussions.

Finance

Find out more about the postgraduate loans scheme and available funding options. UK/EU students (under the age of 60) studying a first master's degree may be eligible for a postgraduate loan of up to £11,222*. You can also contact our Money Advice Team on moneyadvice@glos.ac.uk for more information.
