Biography

I have taught on a wide range of subjects including North American literary studies, psychoanalysis and gender studies and on nature, ecocriticism and symbolic landscapes. I have published on widely-taught writers such as Toni Morrison, J.M. Coetzee, A.S Byatt, Jeanette Winterson and Virginia Woolf. I also edited a Reader: Psychoanalysis and Woman, designed to help students understand and encounter first-hand various psychoanalytical literary theoretical approaches.
