Biography

I'm an award-winning filmmaker whose work has screened internationally. I’m also a published writer in media studies and have taught media production, film and television studies, and screenwriting at universities for over twenty years.

I co-edited the collection The Multiple Worlds of Fringe: Essays on the J.J. Abrams Science Fiction Series (McFarland, 2014) and have published essays on various genre and cult television series, including Alias, Deadwood, Justified, and Veronica Mars.

Professional positions

Paul Zinder is currently in postproduction on his latest short film, after being commissioned by the U.K.-based Canal and River Trust to direct and produce the short documentary Signwriter, which was released in 2015.
