Activities for Post-16 Students

Year 12 Residential

Are your students in Year 12 or equivalent and thinking about university? Are they keen to find out more about student life and to add an invaluable experience to their personal statement?

If they are considering studying Art and Design, Business, Computing or Media, this four-day residential could be for them.

Supported by Student Ambassadors, participants get to stay in our halls of residence, experiencing university accommodation first hand! Throughout the event, students are encouraged to consider whether university is the right choice for them by taking part in a range of academic subject tasters, workshops introducing them to UCAS and student finance, and socialising with like-minded new friends.

The event is absolutely FREE with accommodation, food and evening activities all included. Students are advised to book early as this hugely popular event is oversubscribed every year!

Would you students benefit from some extra support at school to re-focus and motivate them to achieve their goals? Our trained, current university students can mentor Year 12 students from compact partner schools and colleges. Whether it be university information and advice or revision and study skills support, our Student Mentors will work with your students for up to 6 weeks* to target areas that they would like extra help with.

*Mentees will receive continued support until Year 13, to help them achieve their goals.

We offer a comprehensive range of sessions to get your students informed and inspired about higher education.
