Abu started his career as a software developer, serving international clients in USA, Denmark and Germany, building software applications. He designed a web-based district heat planning tool and has consulted on a number of research projects.

Biography

Abu Alam started his career as a software developer. He served many international clients, particularly managing large projects in USA, Denmark and Germany, building and setting up their software applications and distributed databases. Alam worked for the University of Leeds where he was responsible for designing and developing a web-based district heat planning tool for England and Wales. Prior to joining University of Gloucestershire as a Lecturer, he worked there as a consultant / research assistant for various research projects.
