Teachers and Advisers CPD – June 2026 Series
Delivered online via Microsoft Teams.
LinkedIn is an increasingly important tool in the early careers landscape, but many students and educators are not using it to its full potential.
This practical 45-minute session is designed for careers advisers and teachers who want to better understand how LinkedIn can support student progression, while also strengthening their own professional presence. The session will explore how LinkedIn is used in early careers recruitment, what employers are really looking for, and how students can build a strong, credible profile even with limited experience.
It will also provide insight into how we support students at the University of Gloucestershire to develop and strengthen their online presence, including practical approaches to profile building, networking and engagement that can be applied in your own setting.
Alongside this, you will pick up simple, effective tips to enhance your own LinkedIn profile. From showcasing your experience to engaging with content and building your professional network, so you can lead by example.
