What do I need to do?
- Apply to UoG through Clearing from Thursday 14 August 2025.
- Make UoG your choice in the UCAS hub.
- We’ll send you a luxury tastecard giftbox in the post, containing your tastecard gift card (which you’ll use to activate a digital membership) and a handy guide on how to use your tastecard and details on the participating partners.
That’s it! You’ll receive your tastecard before welcome week, so you can go out and explore all Gloucester and Cheltenham has to offer with your new flatmates.

“I made some great savings with my tastecard when I went with my friend to the Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham. We went to the cinema and only paid about £7 each for tickets which was really good. Afterwards we got discounted drinks from Caffè Nero.
In the evening we went to Frankie and Benny’s making the most of a 2 for 1 deal. Overall, the tastecard is very good in terms of discounts, and easy to use too!”

- If you apply through UCAS Clearing to join University of Gloucestershire between 14 August and 12 September 2025, we will send you a tastecard with a RRP of £79.99.
- The University reserves the right to replace the reward with an alternative reward of equal or higher value if the circumstances beyond the University’s control make it necessary to do so.
- The University reserves the right to delay, void, cancel, suspend or amend the reward where it becomes necessary to do so.
- The quoted saving of over £450 is based on an average of savings of £23 per meal per month for a year, 50% off pizza delivery once a month for a year, 25% off an average of 60 coffees per year (priced at £4.40), 25% savings on 4 cinema trips per year and 25% saving on 2 day trips out a year.
