My work has been exhibited internationally, and published in multiple Journals including PHOTOWORKS and DOTA magazine. I have also written about the photograph and it's relation to Archives and the Internet.
My current work is titled 'Mimesis'. This work will culminate in a book consisting of multiple chapters which are exhibited as they are produced. I have recently exhibited bodies of this work in the UK, Europe and New York.
My freelance background is in commercial fashion & advertising photography. I Have worked extensively with international clients including French Connection, Nicole Farhi, YMC and Pantene.
Technically my work spans many genres and mediums including large format hybrid capture and output, contemporary digital capture/ workflow, emerging technologies including 3D scanning, and historical techniques such as wetplate collodion.
I graduated in Photography from The Surrey Institute of Art & Design. I then went on to study an MA in Photography at the London College of Communication (LCC), where I won the prestigious Sproxton Photography Award for my work The Rise & The Fall.
For my degree, I produced the work 'Tautology', consisting of two volumes of a photographic book. The design of the book and the work inside engaged with museum culture and the photograph as a document. One book contained images of Storage aisles. The second book contained images of library stacks. This project represented the start of my ongoing investigations into 'the gap between vision and knowledge' that is a lasting theme in my work.
