I like to use real-life case studies and active learning approaches to engage students.

Biography

I lead the Sports Management degrees. The business side of the sports industry is a fascinating area and my aim is to help students enjoy it as much as I do. I like to challenge students to think critically about the scope and complexities of the sports industry and to develop their learning through real life case studies and active learning approaches. My previous experiences as an athlete, coach, manager and teacher means I have practical and academic insights of the sports industry from a range of perspectives. This experience helps me in my quest to bring learning to life for my students.
