Natasha Hawkins

Lecturer in Accounting and Finance

Business, Entrepreneurship and Financial Management

My passion is to support students to achieve their own professional and educational career goals through a combination of theoretical and real world business experiences.

Biography

My early career was in practice, developing skills in tax, statutory accounts and audit leading to a fellowship with the ACCA. I moved into industry, post qualification, to enable me to impact business decision making, growth and development.

My most recent role was as finance business partner in Dowty Propellers, however I have experience in management accountancy from a range of different industries and perspectives. All my roles involved mentoring students through various stages of their professional qualifications. I love supporting student’s learning as they apply theory to real business and start the journey of their own career.
