I am Physiotherapy lecturer with a special interest in Neurological Rehabilitation whilst also working clinically as a Stroke Specialist Physiotherapist in the NHS. I am thrilled to be able to help students of the University of Gloucestershire build excellent rehabilitation skills and knowledge to enhance their Physiotherapy practice.

Biography

I have been working as a Physiotherapist since 2007, specialising in Neurological rehabilitation, especially Stroke Rehabilitation since 2009. I have a passion for working with people to achieve their goals and to enable them to become masters of their own condition.

Prior to working as a Physiotherapist I completed a degree in Exercise and Sports Science which has given me an excellent foundation to understand the capabilities of the human body.

I have a passion for helping others to learn about neurological conditions but also the natural ageing process and show what we as Physiotherapists can do to promote the best possible quality of life for those we work with.
