Tim Land

Senior Lecturer in Sound and Music Production

I’m a maker of beats and sounds and have an extensive background in producing electronic dance music. More recently I have been specialising in spatial sound and its potential for new auditory experience.

Biography

As a musician and producer I have released albums, EP’s and remixes on indie and major labels. I have received a BAFTA for interactive sound work and have toured internationally with award winning bands and as a DJ. I use these experiences to teach composition, production, music business and political economy. More recently I have been focusing on spatialised sound and the potential it can bring for new music.
