Your interview
In the School of Health and Social Care, we are committed to creating a ‘Culture of Care’. Our interviews are designed to support you in understanding more about the requirements and demands of the course and ensure that each individual who is successful has the best opportunity to achieve their potential. The interview is a two way process, so please ask any questions that you may have. Good luck.
Essential information

Your interview day will last approximately 2-3 hours and will start with registration, during which you will be invited to present your photo ID and complete any necessary forms for your course. There will also be opportunity to discuss any queries with Admissions staff and/or student ambassadors.
Your interview will last around 20, covering a range of questions and you may also be involved in a group discussion. Please prepare any questions you may have as you have the opportunity to ask these at the end of your interview. You will also have the opportunity to have a tour of campus.

Please bring along to your interview a form of identity that includes a photograph, e.g. a passport or driver’s photocard licence.
During your interview, we are keen to see real enthusiasm for the course and hear about any relevant experience you may have. Think about transferrable skills you may have developed in either school, college or work. Be sure to re-read your personal statement in your UCAS application form and have a think about your ambitions after you graduate.
In order to prepare for your interview please consider the following questions:
• What values and beliefs are important to you?
• What attributes make a good health care professional?
• Why would you make a good diagnostic radiographer candidate?
• How would you describe the role of a diagnostic radiographer and where do you think diagnostic radiographers might work?

L3 qualifications or higher, e.g. AS/A Levels, Access to Higher Education Diploma, BTEC Diploma, Degree etc.

Dress code is smart-casual.
