Students who decline their place at University of Gloucestershire
Students who do not enrol for their course
Students studying a second degree
Students will not be eligible for this scholarship if they are a direct entry student into level 5 or above; postgraduate, EU or international student; or studying on a franchise, hybrid or validated University of Gloucestershire course at another institution.
Students who are awarded another University of Gloucestershire Scholarship (e.g. Sports Excellence Scholarship) are not eligible to receive the Academic Merit Scholarship as a maximum of one scholarship only can be awarded. In the event that students have applied and are eligible for more than one scholarship they will be awarded the scholarship with the highest monetary value.
The Academic Merit Scholarship can be cumulative with the Care Leaver Bursary.
The University will terminate the award for any student who ceases to be an enrolled student of the University of Gloucestershire
An award holder who transfers from full-time to part-time enrolment will cease to be eligible to hold the award.
Application process
If you satisfy the full eligibility criteria, the University of Gloucestershire will notify you of your award within 3 months of the commencement of your course.
Annual Renewal of the Academic Merit Scholarship
You will only be eligible for the year 2 award if you successfully progress onto Level 5 of your course and enrol for that academic year.
You will only be eligible for the year 3 award if you successfully progress onto Level 6 of your course and enrol for that academic year.

For the avoidance of doubt no description, specification or illustration contained in any product pamphlet or other sales or marketing literature of the University and no representation written or oral, correspondence or statement shall form part of this agreement.
