One to watch as Sustainability Manager makes 30 under 30

Miriam Webb, Sustainability Engagement Manager at the University of Gloucestershire, has joined the group of aspiring young sustainability, CSR and energy professionals as members of edie’s 30 under 30 initiative.

Edie’s 30 under 30 is a nomination-based membership community of talented sustainability professionals, all aged 30 and under, who have already achieved great things or are showing fantastic promise.

It first launched in 2018, calling for youthful visionaries looking to become members of the initiative’s inaugural 2019 cohort.

After an initial round of judging by edie and its partners Global Action Plan and the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS), 30 individuals representing organisations across the UK were selected to form the ‘Class of 2020’.

Each of the new members will benefit from access to content and events over the coming year, beginning with an exclusive launch and networking event in London next month.

Other young sustainability leaders on the list include, Lucie Agass at OVO Energy and Marta Perricone at Unilever.

Miriam Webb, Sustainability Engagement Manager, said:
“I’m really pleased to have been selected as part of Edie’s prestigious 30 under 30 initiative and I’m looking forward to networking and learning with other young professionals driving change for sustainability in a wide range of sectors. I’m excited by how I can use this experience to mentor our students to as develop as future sustainability leaders themselves.”
