‘Fearless Girl’ gets top placement

Recent advertising graduate Jade Delaney used her initiative to gain a placement at McCann Bristol.  Jade transformed herself into the iconic Wall Street artwork the ‘Fearless Girl’ and spent hours outside the advertising agency. The plaque below the statue states: ‘Know the power of women in leadership. She makes a difference.’

“I’m advertising myself as a determined young woman looking for a placement”

Managing director of McCann, Andy Reid said: “Jade has been brave enough to stand out from the crowd, which is a fantastic trait for anyone starting a career in advertising.”

Jade spent over a year with McCann and has since moved to Epoch Design as a creative writer. “I think you have to make the opportunity happen, I don’t think you can wait for it.”

Jade’s efforts to secure a job attracted attention not only from the McCann directors but from the national and local press.  View the news stories from the MetroDaily Mail and read Jade’s article from Campaign
