University celebrates success of Vietnam graduates on international programme

University of Gloucestershire is proud to celebrate the achievements of the latest graduates from its international degree programme enhancing the career prospects of students in Vietnam.

In collaboration with academic partner, the University of Economics and Finance (UEF) International Institute, the UK bachelor’s degree programme enables students in Vietnam to be taught by experts from the University and enhance their opportunities to work aboard.

University of Gloucestershire Vice-Chancellor Stephen Marston congratulated graduates from the Class of 2022, who faced the challenges of studying during the Covid-19 pandemic, at an award ceremony at the UEF’s headquarters in Ho Minh City, Vietnam.

“Graduation is a defining moment,” he said. “It marks and symbolises the point at which most students reach the end of their formal education, having gained a strong platform of personal and professional development as young adults.

“I hope today you will be graduating with a strong sense of optimism, opportunity, and self-confidence, because you have shown that you can cope with uncertainty, and you can succeed in adversity.

“You have achieved your academic qualifications in circumstances of exceptional challenge, so your achievement is particularly special.

“It is a privilege and a pleasure for my University to be able to award our degrees to you today in recognition of all your hard work, all your talent, and everything you have achieved in your studies.

“Congratulations from all of us at the University of Gloucestershire and best wishes for every success in the future.”
