University embarks on partnership with prestigious Vietnam National University
The University of Gloucestershire has launched a partnership with the University of Economics and Law (UEL), part of Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City, to deliver University of Gloucestershire bachelor degrees in Vietnam.
Starting in October 2016, students will be able to register for a programme leading to one of three bachelor degrees:
• BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance
• BA (Hons) Business and Management Studies
• BA (Hons) International Business
Dr Richard O’Doherty, Deputy Vice Chancellor at the University of Gloucestershire said: “We are delighted to be working with such a prestigious institution to deliver our degrees in Vietnam. We hope that by providing our courses in partnership with UEL they will be more accessible to students who might otherwise be unable to study for a UK degree and we look forward to working with UEL to provide a unique and high quality learning experience for these students.”
Students will first need to register with UEL to complete the preliminary stage of their studies. If successful they will then be eligible to register for the second year of the University of Gloucestershire degree which will be taught by UEL staff at their Ho Chi Minh City campus. The entire degree can be completed in 3½ years.
