UoG to host lecture exploring plans for a sustainable and successful Gloucestershire

University of Gloucestershire has joined forces with the Honourable Company of Gloucestershire to present a lecture exploring long-term plans for a successful and sustainable county.

David Owen, Director of Economy and Environment at Gloucestershire County Council, will provide an overview of the Gloucestershire Strategy around infrastructure, housing and business to provide a positive future for the population of the county.

The Honourable Company of Gloucestershire Lecture 2024 will discuss questions about where we will live, where could we work and how will we get around the county over the next quarter of a century.

The lecture will be introduced by Michael Jones from the Honourable Company and Nicola de longh, Chair of the University Council.

It will take place at the University’s Park Campus in Cheltenham on Wednesday, 25 September (6pm-7.30pm). Admission is free but places must be reserved in advance.
