World Athletics Automated Commentary

This project is a collaboration between academics in the School of Natural, Social and Sport and Sciences, the School of Creative Industries, and World Athletics.

World Athletics are seeking to harness the potential of an automated commentary system that draws upon relevant athlete data and provides this to key stakeholders in a naturalistic and editorially balanced way via its digital platforms. The projects aim is to develop pre-prepared commentary that can be incorporated into a system which selects and presents this commentary according to computer-based codes.
