Chloe makes things she never thought she’d be able to

Chloe is a BSc (Hons) Computer Games Design student and has recently completed her placement at Warner Music creating audio for games and game trailers.

“My placement was really helpful! I got to meet a lot of other games companies, which meant I could make more contacts with the industry.

Getting women involved brings a different outlook to the game. The more variety of people you have the better product you can make.

The lecturers are really fun! Games itself is a fun course to learn, it’s a fun industry to be in, so they bring that energy to it.

The uni’s really good at setting up events for us. We’ve had companies come in, and we sit down with them and discuss jobs and application processes. Even after graduation the uni is still there to help you, so I know I’ve got everything I need”

When I started I didn’t come from a gaming background, I was more design, so I didn’t really have any experience in it. I thought if I could just pass then I’ll be fine, but over the last couple of years my grades have really improved and I’ve made things I never thought I’d be able to! Being here has really inspired me to keep working towards my goals.”
