Anastazia rubs shoulders with royalty while working on the Eurovision Song Contest
When BA (Hons) Television Production Graduate Anastazia Pieniazek landed a dream job as a researcher on the Eurovision Song Contest, she knew it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
“I was working mostly with the team that produced the opening for the show and I worked with the interval acts. My job was to help the musical director with whatever he needed”.
She could never have anticipated however that she would end up appearing on-screen with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
“It was all very hush hush. We knew the Royals were coming to make an appearance in the opening film for Semi Final 1 but I didn’t know that I would be on-screen with them. I won’t forget that in a hurry!”
