Dan lands role on Caterpillar graduate program
Dan Taplin graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business and Management.
During his time at the University of Gloucestershire, he experienced a placement year with GE Capital.
“I found my placement year to be a transformational experience. It taught me professional skills and enabled me to take appropriate considered business decisions, alongside the soft skills required to communicate and articulate yourself correctly in the workplace.”
After finishing his placement with GE, he returned to university with a fantastic career opportunity on the horizon.
“I discussed my dissertation study with Caterpillar recruiters who were interested in my dissertation. Following their assessment, I was offered a position on the Caterpillar graduate program. The foundations of my dissertation, support from lecturers and my placement experience equipped me well for developing the critical process transformation and improvement mindset that employers highly value.”
