Katie felt supported during her studies

After attending the University for an open day, I decided it was the place for me. The lecturers I met were positively engaging, extremely friendly and truly passionate about the course.

Throughout my three years of study, I was introduced to various criminally orientated subjects that were taught through a diverse combination of traditional lecturing and immersive practical simulation.

The blended approach to learning provided extraordinary insight into the various topics studied and enabled enhanced learning through the physical adaption of skills and techniques learnt.

Alongside direct study, I was supplied with endless opportunities to expand my knowledge and to develop as an individual, including but not limited to; volunteering, mentorships, practical work experience, employability workshops and regular tutor meetings.

I am now studying to become a chartered accountant. The support and care delivered by all members of staff at University of Gloucestershire are second to none, and I truly could not have asked for a better experience whilst studying away from home.

If you are looking for a university with a fantastic combination of learning, development opportunities, and a supportive environment, then University of Gloucestershire is certainly for you.
