Katie studied for a Masters Educational Leadership.
“I found that the staff at University of Gloucestershire both encouraged and challenged me to achieve my potential. They made the modules relevant to current practice in schools and to me as an individual.
“The course has benefited me by enabling me to reflect on my current role and leadership practice. It taught me to evaluate and research more thoroughly the strategies that impact on those I lead. It was also a great opportunity to meet other leaders and to engage in professional discussions about current issues and our leadership roles.”
Katie used the MA to reflect and build upon her existing experience as a teacher and leader. Focusing on research, she was able to evaluate more thoroughly the impact on those she leads. Katie is now a Deputy Head of an Infant School.
