Sienna advises fellow students in her role as Careers Coach

Sienna is in her final year on Digital Media Production and is combining her studies with a role for the University as a Careers Coach. This innovative approach to careers advice matches current students who have already begun their professional journeys with other students who might be starting out, or unsure what options are available to them.

Sienna works closely with the University’s ground-breaking careers service, Student Futures, to deliver vital support to her fellow students and ensure they’re as prepared as they can be for the workplace.

“My course has so many useful strands of employability that have really come in handy for my Careers Coaching role. In the first year I particularly enjoyed the sprint projects and explored ways to take the pitching skills I was learning, forward. There’s a great sense of satisfaction from helping out fellow students on their career journey, plus I get paid of course!”
