Tashara lands Sport Therapist roll with Football Club

Tashara Drysdale, BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy graduate.

Studying BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy at The University was a great experience. As a student, I struggled with both the practical and written elements but having lecturers who were recent graduates in the same field helped me nurture various learning styles, especially in my final year. I now have a range of tools that I refer to throughout my life as a graduate sports therapist.

Throughout my three years, I was offered various opportunities from all my lectures to gain experience with a range of external therapists. This was offered early on in my studies which is one of the many things I valued; particularly as it gave me the confidence I needed and now have as a recent graduate.

I have been able to apply the skills and knowledge from the course directly into my graduate role and currently feel at ease when networking with other therapists. I now work at Forest Green Rovers FC as an Academy Sports Therapist.
