GCHQ has played a major part in the fight against our enemies and being part of Cheltenham’s identity. But how much do you really know about it?

Our expert speaker for this event is Dr David Abrutat, Departmental Historian from the GCHQ Historical Section. The talk will be complemented by an exhibition showcasing the projects of architecture and game design students from University of Gloucestershire.

David will tell us some of the fascinating stories from the complete history of GCHQ including its time in Cheltenham in the iconic Doughnut. What does the future hold and what will the new cyber-Museum encompass?

The students’ work explores the facades of the institutions over time, as well as will invite you to play interactive computer games. Join us to find out more.
