Back by popular demand, Arts Week 2023 is held by University of Gloucestershire online and offers a week jam-packed with industry-focused sessions as well as stories from our staff, students or artists from around the world.

This week-long event is dedicated to the arts and packed with creative sessions in a vast array of subjects for you to enjoy virtually using your preferred device. It’s also a great chance to speak with our practicing lecturers, ask any questions and hear advice about your portfolio, auditions or having big ideas whatever your discipline.

Keynote speakers

This year we will welcome some notable external speakers such as:

  • Amak Mahmoodian whose photography work talks about identity and home
  • Maie El-Hague sharing her journey as an art journalist and curator
  • Mark Denton nicknamed ‘the Godfather of Advertising’
  • Tim Jordan from the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) talking about fighting on stage
  • Or our very own Prof Richard Billingham talking about the inspirations and creative process behind his work which includes the BAFTA nominated film ‘Ray and Liz’’.
